Due to expansion, this leading investment management company is hiring an additional legal counsel to support their APAC regional legal work including:

• Negotiating, reviewing and drafting investment management/distribution agreements
• Fund formation including setting up Hong Kong domiciled SFC authorised funds and China QDLP funds

To qualify, you should have the following qualifications and experience:

• 5-10 years PQE gained with the funds practice of a leading international law firm, in-house experience with an investment management/fund house would be ideal
• Experienced with legal and regulatory matters relating to asset managers in the APAC region including in negotiating investment management and distribution agreements and fund formation
• Experience of setting up HK domiciled SFC-authorised funds and China QDLP funds is preferred
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is essential
• Collaborative and team player is sought
