Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Inbound Senior Tour Executive / Inbound Tour Executive to manage front-line customer engagement, travel inquiries, customized itinerary planning, costings, reservations, and client confirmations.

The ideal candidate should have strong destination knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and hands-on experience in travel sales, reservations, or operations. This role requires the ability to coordinate with clients, suppliers, hoteliers, service providers, and internal teams to deliver a smooth and high-quality travel experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers professionally to understand their travel needs and preferences
• Handle customer inquiries promptly through CRM systems
• Prepare accurate costings, quotations, and customized itineraries based on client requirements
• Process reservations and ensure accurate confirmations are sent to clients on time
• Coordinate with suppliers, hoteliers, and service providers to secure bookings
• Liaise with the Accounts Department regarding client payments and payment follow-ups
• Support ground handling operations to ensure a seamless client experience
• Maintain updated knowledge of destinations, travel products, and services offered
• Update and maintain the customer database accurately
• Adhere to company policies, service standards, and performance guidelines
• Increase the conversion ratio while maintaining a healthy profit margin
• Work under pressure and ensure deadlines are met without compromising service quality

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Tourism, Business, or a related field

Experience

• 2 to 3 years of experience in travel sales, reservations, inbound travel, or travel operations
• Experience in inbound tour handling, destination management, or customized itinerary planning would be an added advantage
• Strong PR skills with hoteliers, suppliers, and service providers

Skills & Other Requirements

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prepare accurate costings and itineraries
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of travel CRM systems
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent knowledge of Sri Lanka as a travel destination
• Knowledge of other destinations such as Maldives and Dubai would be an advantage
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
• Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, internal teams, suppliers, and service providers
