Title Manager-Procurement - Thane HO
Purpose To check BOQ, float the tender, get the quotations and negotiate with the Vendors for Civil and Finishing items
Job Description Check the BOQ for its correctness and completeness as per tender / GFC drawings and get the RFI's closed

Float the tender to respective vendors as per approved vendor list.

Co-ordinate with vendors for submission of quotes online / offline.

Do internal rate analyis / zero cost analysis

Negotaite with the vendors on the rates

Compare rates of various vendors along with ASL rates and make comparative for committee approval.

Identify RMC vendors for the upcoming site locations.

Collect local site data including local rates

Get design mix approval from design team.

Make RMC rate analysis and negotiate with RMC vendor.

Check Extra / Excess quantity during Closure and present the rates for approval.

Address the concerns raised by vendors and maintain co-ordial relation with them

Maintain good image of D-Mart while dealing with external stake holders

Keeps himself / herself updated with latest market trends and best practices in construction and propose the same to design / projects to achieve faster construction with better quality of product / service at the best rates possible thereby adding value to the project while saving cost.
Qualification Engineering Civil or Mechanical
Candidate Profile 8+ years experience of contract / commercial function of which at least 2 years in a senior position.

Has good technical knowledge of Civil works.

Has Fair knowledge of design mix and quality aspects of steel and RMC.

Very Good analytical Skills and commercial acumen.

Good negotiation Skills.

Good interpersonal Skills.

Honest and with high integrity.

Good presentation Skills.

Academic Qualification: A graduate in civil engineer.

Technical Skills: Quantity surveying, Contract drafting, change order management.

Other Skills – High command over English language. Good drafting Skills. Level headed, patient
Qualifying Skills to get the Job Ability to work independently. Self Driven. Good Technical knowledge. Good analytical and mathematical skills. Strong co-ordination and follow up skills, ability to work with little direction, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism, good interpersonal and communications skills, ability to establish strong interpersonal relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, negotiation skills
Accepted Department from Which the candidate qualifies Projects (internal) based on relevant experience / External
Preferred Dept Projects (internal) based on relevant experience / External
