Established Investment Group is looking to employ a Systems Engineer that will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the computer infrastructure and networks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance
• Identifying and resolving system-related issues
• Ensuring system uptime and availability.
• Design, configure and maintain computer systems, including hardware, software, and networks.
• Install and configure system hardware and software, including operating systems, databases, and virtualization technologies (VMWare) and storage arrays.
• Manage and configure system users and user groups, as well as system permissions and access controls.
• Plan and implement system upgrades and migrations.
• Microsoft Azure administration and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12
• Certifications : Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or similar.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in systems engineering
• Experience with system design, implementation, and maintenance and cloud computing.
• Knowledge of system security concepts and protocols.
• Skills: load balancers; Veeam; Cisco; Linux and Kubernetes
• Systems knowledge: VMWare and Microsoft Azure
