Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific project requirements or managing particular phases within the product lifecycle. This role requires applying a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, methodologies, and tools to effectively support clients, projects, or organizational entities. The workday often includes collaborating with team members to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software components, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and continuously refining solutions to align with evolving project goals and client needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet quality and performance standards.
- Assist in documenting software design and development processes to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Openlink Endur.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with ASP.NET MVC.
- Strong problem-solving abilities related to software development and configuration.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to analyze and optimize system performance and reliability.
- Experience in integrating software components and third-party tools.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Openlink Endur.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
