We are hiring for a Full-Time/ Part-Time Planning and Operations Intern with a wage range of $20.00 - $22.00 at our Operations Office in Stony Plain, AB.
Reporting to the Director of Store Planning, the Planning and Operations Intern supports the day-to-day operations of the organization by assisting with maintenance coordination, vendor communications, and administrative workflows. This role is designed for a highly motivated individual eager to contribute to operational effectiveness and grow in a fast-paced retail operations environment.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Program Support: Assist in the rollout and monitoring of Store Planning initiatives across all locations throughout Alberta.
Asset Management: Help maintain accurate equipment inventories and assist in coordinating with external vendors.
Maintenance Coordination: Learn to facilitate maintenance programs including tracking annual inspections and service calls.
Operational Admin: Create purchase orders for equipment and supplies, and maintain organized operational records and reports.
Project Assistance: Support the operational teams on upcoming and existing projects.
Collaboration: Work alongside the Director of Store Planning to improve operation efficiency.
What you Bring:
Currently enrolled in a business, operations, construction management, interior design, or similar post-secondary program
Office or maintenance administration experience is an asset.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to balance multiple ongoing projects and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work fully in-office independently or as a team
Strong Google Suite skills and the ability to quickly learn new computer programs
Experience with AutoCAD is an asset
Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
