Responsibilities
TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video. Our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. TikTok has global offices including Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, Jakarta, Seoul and Tokyo.
We are actively looking for a Tech Lead Manager to help grow our QA team and product.
In this role, you will:
1. Support a small to medium sized engineering team on career development;
2. Work on test strategy and methodology setup and optimization;
3. Provide technical support for engineers on team;
4. Align with product and org objectives, and coordinate with cross-functional teams on delivering key results;
5. Define long term technical roadmap for team;
6. Contribute to technical decisions on projects among the product.
Qualifications
1. BS/MS degree in a relevant field: Computer Engineering or EE;
2. 5+ years of mobile application testing experience and/or service development or testing experience;
3. 2+ years managing or tech-leading a QA team;
4. Experience working with Java/Objective-C/Python/Golang;
5. Experience with service automation, performance testing tools, or test platform development;
6. Experience with Redis, NSQ, Zero-MQ, Kafka, Docker, K8s, Hive, Spark;
7. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to coordinate with different local and global teams.
