Position: SMT Expert (Production Engineer Dept.)

Location: Samut Prakan, Thailand

Salary: 50-70K THB/Month

Working day: Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 17:00

Responsibilities:

• Process Development & Optimization - Develop, set up, and optimize SMT processes for line expansion and new model
• Line Expansion & Equipment Installation - Lead SMT line expansion and new equipment installation
• Yield & Defect Improvement - Lead yield improvement and defect reduction through program & process optimization
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting - Provide technical support and solve process issues across SMT steps (PCB Loader Solder Paste Printer SPI Pick & Place Reflow AOI Unloader)
• Customer Feedback Analysis & Root Cause Investigation - Analyze customer feedback and quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Traceability & Process Data Management - Implement and manage traceability systems (barcode, MES), linked SPI Placement Reflow AOI data for complete traceability
• Maintenance & Equipment Reliability - Support preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and spare parts management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or any related fields.
• Ability to prepare technical reports such as 8D and RCA in English
• Capable of communicating in English with customers and suppliers as needed
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in SMT process engineering
• Background in the automotive industry is a strong advantage
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, 8D reporting, PPAP, control plans, and traceability is highly preferred
• Proficiency in SMT process development, line setup, defect/yield improvement, and root cause analysis
• Practical experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI) and participation in audits or process validation
