Description
The Key Account Manager (KAM) in Urology will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key healthcare professionals, hospitals, and clinics within the urology sector. This role requires a strategic approach to sales, focusing on building long-term partnerships that drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
Location: United Kingdom
Main Responsibilities
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), urologists, and other healthcare professionals to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Create and implement effective account plans that align with company objectives while addressing the unique challenges of each key account.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the urology field to inform sales strategies.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of urology products through presentations, demonstrations, and educational sessions tailored to healthcare professionals.
- Monitor sales performance against targets; analyse data to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.
Profile
- Bachelors degree in Science, Pharmacy, Nursing, Business or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical sales or account management within the urology or medical device industry is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport quickly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
