Job Summary
The IT Recruiter executes staffing strategies and supports initiatives/programs within the Talent Acquisition function that will improve the overall talent in the organization. Responsibilities include sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates in consistent partnership with HR Leaders and Hiring Managers. This position will also consult with the Talent Acquisition Leadership to create new and enhanced recruiting and selection processes and tools that will attract, select and retain a qualified and diverse workforce.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- IT Recruiting/Staffing - Implement external recruiting/selection programs and processes that attract, select and retain a qualified, diverse workforce, leveraging automated applicant tracking system. Oversee job postings and other internal talent recruitment/placement processes. Assist with the development of on-boarding processes that support talent retention.
- Lateral Recruitment Lifecycle – Experience in overall recruitment lifecycle including hiring intake, sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, compensation negotiation and offer process
- Campus Hiring: Focus on attracting and hiring fresh talent (interns, graduates, entry-level roles) from colleges and universities
- Sourcing Expertise: Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn. Use of advanced sourcing techniques such as Boolean search and headhunting. Familiarity with IT skills (Java, Python, Cloud, etc.)
- MIS & Reporting: Maintain records in ATS or internal trackers. Track recruitment metrics like TAT (Time to fill), Offer-to-join ratio, Feedback Surveys
- Candidate & Stakeholder Engagement: Ensuring keen focus on candidate and stakeholder engagement with timely updates throughout the process
- AI in Recruitment: Experience in using AI tools to scan resumes against job descriptions. Using AI platforms like AI platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, HireEZ, etc.) to search large talent pools. Suggest passive candidates based on skills and behavior patterns. Using AI tools to coordinate calendars and automatically set up interviews.
- Recruitment Marketing: Focus on attracting, engaging, and nurturing potential candidates. Develop and promote the company’s employer value proposition (EVP). Maintain a consistent brand voice across career pages, social media, and job ads. Showcase company culture through employee stories, videos, testimonials. Monitor employer reputation on platforms like Glassdoor, Ambition Box & LinkedIn
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field (master’s degree in human resources or related field preferred)
- 4-6 years progressive human resources experience, with at least 3 years of responsibility for recruiting at a corporate level (retail experience strongly preferred); or Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, decision making and development/planning skills.
- Experience in working with ATS tools (Workday) & CRM tools (Phenom)
