Combine ingenuity, in-depth research, and a spirit of collaboration with design and engineering excellence
Advance in-vehicle infotainment, safety, efficiency, and enjoyment
About the Role
In this role, you will develop and integrate IOC (Input/Output Controller) software for Telematics Control Units (TCUs). The IOC runs AUTOSAR-based software that enables key functions such as power management, CAN communication, diagnostics, and various features that interact
with other ECUs in the vehicle. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of this software, ensuring reliable and efficient operation of the TCU within the broader infotainment and telematics system.
What You Will Do
Develop IOC software for the Telematics Control Unit (TCU), working across the full AUTOSAR stack (MCAL, BSW, RTE, SW-C)
Debug, analyze, and optimize IOC software to ensure performance and reliability
Configure and integrate AUTOSAR modules using DaVinci Configurator, DaVinci Developer, and other similar tools
Implement and optimize low-level drivers, CDDs, and peripheral interfaces
Perform CAN simulation, testing, and diagnostic validation using industry-standard tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer, CANdela)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, developing other parts of the TCU software
Support system-level integration
Support the production team in completing EOL (End-Of-Line) testing by resolving issues and validating software behavior
Perform functional, unit, and system-level testing to ensure compliance with automotive software standards
Conduct root-cause analysis, fix issues, validate fixes, and assess risks for critical changes
Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to customers throughout the development lifecycle
What You Need to Be Successful
Strong system-level embedded software expertise
Advanced C programming skills, including debugging and low-level development
Hands-on experience with the AUTOSAR Classic software stack (MCAL, BSW, RTE, SW-C development)
Proven ability to configure and integrate MCAL and BSW modules
Proven ability to configure OS and RTE in an AUTOSAR system
Practical experience working with automotive-grade microcontrollers (e.g., RH850, S32K)
Good understanding of AUTOSAR OS / RTOS concepts and real-time behavior
Solid knowledge of automotive peripherals and their configuration (UART, SPI, CAN, ADC, PWM)
Experience with diagnostic protocols and services, including UDS
Previous exposure to automotive development processes and standards is a strong advantage
Bonus Points if You Have
Knowledge of HSM (Hardware Security Module) related features, including secure boot, key handling, and cryptographic services within the AUTOSAR platform
Experience in Telematics projects
What Makes You Eligible
You demonstrate proficiency in English.
You show willingness to travel, as required.
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Automatic Control, or a related field; a Master’s degree is considered an advantage.
