Description
assisting customers to find, select, and purchase jewelry by providing expert product knowledge, maintaining attractive displays, processing transactions, and building lasting client relationships, all while striving to meet sales targets and stay current with trends. Key duties include customer engagement, sales generation, inventory/display management, handling payments, and ensuring high customer satisfaction through personalized service.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement: Greet customers, understand their needs, provide expert advice on gems/metals/styles, and offer personalized recommendations.
Sales & Targets: Achieve individual and team sales goals, process transactions accurately (cash, card, installments), and handle gift wrapping.
Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of current jewelry trends, materials (diamonds, gold, etc.), and brand-specific items.
Store Presentation: Arrange and maintain visually appealing, clean, and organized displays; manage stock and assist with inventory.
Customer Relations: Build and nurture strong client relationships for repeat business, handle complaints professionally, and resolve issues effectively.
Administrative Tasks: Handle sales records, process orders, and potentially assist with administrative duties like shipments.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Proven sales or luxury retail experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service focus with a passion for jewelry.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays.
Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and CRM
