Job Summary
As an Associate Attorney, you will join a team of attorneys representing clients throughout North Carolina in the Corporate, Business, Estate Planning, and Estate Probate areas of practice in the Firm.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare various business transactional documents including: business acquisition and merger agreements, entity formation documentation, internal corporate agreements, and various business contracts
- Meet and confer with business owners and managers to advise clients on relevant business law matters including internal business disputes, external business disputes, and participate in contractual negotiations
- Prepare various estate planning documents to include wills, power of attorneys, and various trusts agreements
- Assist clients in the estate probate process
- Attend court proceedings including trials, motion hearings, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and related proceedings related to business, estate planning and estate probate matters
- Advise clients on business, estate planning, and estate probate matters
Minimum Qualifications
- J.D from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the state of employment
- Effective time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex legal and business documents
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others
