Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a VAT Accountant to join our client's team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to work within a dynamic environment, supporting a diverse client portfolio while ensuring full compliance with VAT regulations. The selected candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality VAT compliance services and contributing to the ongoing development of the tax function.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns and related filings in line with applicable legislation and regulatory requirements
• 
  Manage VAT compliance obligations including registrations, deregistrations, reconciliations, and liaising with tax authorities
• 
  Monitor updates in VAT legislation and assess their impact on clients, supporting the implementation of compliant processes
• 
  Contribute to the indirect tax function by sharing technical knowledge and supporting team development
• 
  Ensure timely submissions, maintain deadlines, and provide regular updates and reports to management

Key Requirements:

• 
  Qualified Accountant or in the final stages of completing ACCA
• 
  Minimum of 3 years' experience in a VAT compliance role
• 
  Strong communication and interpersonal skills within a team-oriented environment
• 
  Excellent command of written and spoken English
• 
  High attention to detail with a proactive and hands-on approach
