Job Description:
We are looking for a Commercial Litigation Secretary for our client, a major regional law firm with substantial operations in Hong Kong, to support their litigation partner and team on commercial litigation and arbitration matters. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Budget: to HK$28,000 - 30,000 per month
WHAT
- Provide administrative and secretarial support to the litigation partner and team.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Manage and maintain the litigation calendar, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries of legal issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
YOU
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal secretary or paralegal in commercial litigation with a reputable law firm.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
