Go-Merchants Infrastructure Team

Go-Merchants is an engineering organization in GOJEK which is responsible to provide the most efficient and reliable selling experience for hundreds of thousands GOJEK’s online and offline merchants. To provide such experience, the Infrastructure team are responsible for providing platforms for microservices to operate across our hybrid infrastructure between multiple data centers, local private clouds, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform, with complex connectivity to multiple banks and partners. Additionally, we are also managing several services required by our microservices to operate.

As GOJEK is expanding rapidly, we are looking for top talents to help us tackle engineering challenges that is coming with it. Currently, we are doing our best efforts to make a bigger presence in cloud platforms, scale deployments of our engineering organization, and helping other team such as network and database to be automated as well.

What you will do:

1. Collaborate with other engineers to ensure microservices operate reliably
2. Managing services required for microservices to run such as Kafka, Redis, and ElasticSearch
3. Manage infrastructure as code

• You are a team player, honest, disciplined, and have great attention to detail
• You have strong understanding of distributed systems
• You have strong understanding of Linux-based OS
• You have strong scripting skills with preferred language of Bash, Ruby, Python, or Go
• You are proficient using configuration management tools such as Terraform and Chef
• You have experience using tools required to operate containers, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• You have deep understanding on managing Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform
• Hands-on experience managing Kafka, Redis, and ElasticSearch services
• You are familiar with Git
• You have 2+ years experience in similar role
• You are willing to relocate to Jakarta
