The Sales Finance department

Based in Viby J, Denmark, Arla Foods Denmark (ADK) is the commercial organization handling sales and marketing activities in the Danish market. The total revenue of ADK amounts to more than 9 billion DKK. ADK Finance is responsible for all financial activities ranging from price and performance management to business partnering and reporting. Our work supports the commercial organization as well as the ADK management team. The Retail Finance team, part of the whole Finance department of 13 people, consist of 3 strong profiles each supporting their specific customer portfolio. Hence the possibilities for solid sparring and development also lies within the team, where there is a strong culture to support each other.  

Your job as Finance Business Partner

You will be responsible for having the overview and improve Arla’s financial development on the Danish market for one of Arla’s largest customers. We expect you to act as a trusted advisor and spar on a strategic and tactical level with the respective Business Unit Director, Key Account Managers and support functions in our customer core team. In collaboration with the commercial business you will analyze the underlying performance and relate to the effect of these on the top- and bottom line.

You will be analyzing opportunities and consequences to ensure financial transparency and accuracy on financial figures to enable Arla to drive the right directions and decisions. Besides being part of commercial decisions you will be driving the financial agenda, within

• Financial forecasting
• Month end closing
• Annual negotiations
• Price management
• Performance management
• Business cases, incl. recommendations

Thus, you must be prepared for the fact that projects and cross-organizational work will be an important factor in your everyday work.

You will play a part in setting the directions and goals for next year’s ambitions and you will act as a key player in an efficient and proactive department with specialized professional competences. Strong analyst with the courage to lead the way

Your educational background is a Master’s degree within Finance, Economics or similar and past work experience, you have already proved that you are capable of achieving extraordinary results. Optimally, you have worked within a FMCG company, a retailer or similar, and have gained experience within commercial finance. You have strong business acumen and you possess a proactive mindset with a strong desire for creating results and improving the day of tomorrow. At the same time, you are a great team player and loyal collaborator with strong communication skills in both English and Danish. Your strong analytical skills and personal impact gives you the ability to offer challenging and constructive sparring on all levels of an organization.
