Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Analyst must have strong analytical and organizational skills. The objectives of this position are to ensure the integrity of cost of goods sold, analyze cost prices, monitor inventory and complete detailed analysis of warehouse performance. This person will act as a business partner and ensure proper financial management of operations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE

  • Perform month-end processes related to inventory, gross margin, and general accounting
  • Perform month-end inventory reconciliations
  • Participate in monthly cost review presentation
  • Monitor and control production costs and variations
  • Validate and analyze inventory differences and ensure transaction exactness
  • Maintain and improve internal inventory control processes
  • Participate in annual standard cost review process
  • Participate in the preparation of various reports and analyses for the management team

WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE

  • CPA designation (asset)
  • Three to five (3-5) years of experience in a similar position including experience in a manufacturing company
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and costing
  • Knowledge of an ERP system (JDE an asset)
  • Complete knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including advanced profiency in Excel

  • Bilingual in English and French, both spoken and written
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Autonomous and take initiative
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
