• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements
• Participate in Performance bottleneck analysis and fixes
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Develop and track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of cloud-based or on-premises developing, testing, staging and production system
• Pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance
• Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements.
• Definition processes to establish QA best practices within the agile environment

Qualification:

• Bachelors/Masters in CS from a reputable university
• 6+ years of relevant QA experience

Skills:

• API automation testing including working experience with unit test automation frameworks
• Strong grasp of QA life cycle within agile environments
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with QA and automation tools.
• Experience with open-source test tools
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail mindset.
• Strong experience with Cloud, such as, AWS, Azure etc.
• Strong understanding of Scrum based agile development life cycle
• Ability to develop & run scripts and utilities under Linux, Unix, and Windows
