The Supply Planning Team Lead (Intercompany) is responsible for leading end-to-end intercompany supply planning and procurement execution across internal manufacturing plants. This role ensures material availability, drives On-Time Delivery (OTD), Drive inventory reductions and AOS Health, and strengthens operational excellence through disciplined execution, cross-functional alignment, and process governance.

This position reports to the Intercompany Procurement Manager and is part of the Supply Chain / Procurement organization based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, operating in a highly collaborative, global environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and develop the team responsible for intercompany PR → PO execution, while owning end-to-end supply performance, driving On-Time Delivery (OTD), AOS Health, and inventory reduction at Gemba through disciplined execution and strong supply alignment
  • Act as the primary escalation point, driving cross-plant alignment between requesting and supplying sites to ensure realistic and executable delivery commitments
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance to ensure seamless intercompany execution and rapid issue resolution
  • Oversee shipment planning and logistics execution, ensuring accuracy in shipping instructions, delivery schedules, and documentation readiness
  • Govern intercompany returns and reverse logistics processes, ensuring compliance, approvals, and financial/system alignment
  • Ensure SAP data accuracy and governance, maintaining high data integrity to support reliable planning and execution
  • Drive standard work (SW) adoption and continuous improvement, including leading PSP (Problem Solving Process) activities and managing supply risks (lead time gaps, delays, shipment issues) through structured escalation and disciplined problem-solving .

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Proven experience in intercompany supply planning, procurement, or internal plant operations within a global manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated leadership capability in managing teams, driving execution, and handling escalations in a high-volume operational environment
  • Strong experience managing On-Time Delivery (OTD), Driving Inventory reduction, AOS Health, with a track record of improving supply performance and execution discipline
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance teams in a multi-region (AMER, EMEA, APAC) environment
  • Strong problem-solving capability with hands-on experience in PSP (Problem Solving Process)
  • Solid understanding of intercompany logistics, shipment coordination, and return processes within complex supply chain networks

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • SAP or equivalent ERP systems with strong focus on master data integrity, transactional accuracy, and process governance
  • Leading teams or acting as an escalation focal point in a global, multi-region (AMER, EMEA, APAC) supply chain environment
  • Managing intercompany logistics, including shipment execution, inventory flows, and reverse logistics within complex manufacturing networks
  • Working in high-volume operational environments with strong focus on KPI-driven performance management (OTD, inventory, cycle time, and data accuracy)
