Nokia's Fixed Network Broadband Device Business Unit is seeking a talented Senior Digital Hardware Engineer to drive the design, development, and qualification of electrical equipment for our Fiber ONT RGs, Wifi APs, Wifi Beacons, and Cloud-based Mesh solutions. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise to ensure the reliability and performance of our next-generation broadband devices, impacting millions of users worldwide. NIFN2026
- Work with various engineering and project teams to design, troubleshoot, modify, and run qualification testing for various electrical equipment under development.
- Design, test, and troubleshoot circuits such as Processors and Wifi Radios for various electrical equipment.
- Select and assess the suitability and reliability of electronic components.
- Maintain comprehensive product documentation.
- Interact with Application, Software, and other Electronic Engineers to meet customer/system requirements for hardware designs.
- Prototype electronic circuits and meticulously documenting measurements and results.
- Review and approve electrical documentation, including schematics, assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and PCB layouts.
- Perform failure analysis of electronic circuits, issuing reports on findings, and recommending opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Assist other members of the hardware group and/or project teams.
- Support factory production line testing remotely and on-site.

You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field, with more than 6 years of working experience in the industry or a similar domain.
- At least 6+ years of successful hardware design experience and a solid understanding of the hardware product design lifecycle process.
- Experience with circuit schematic capture, layout, and simulation software.
- Proficiency in using test equipment such as Digital Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, DC Power supplies, Network Analyzers, and Signal Analyzers.
- Experience with RF, Wireless, or digital communication circuits.
- Experience with transmitters and/or receivers and general RF concepts.
- Experience with Antennas.
- Experience with compliance and regulations like CE, ETSI, ANSI, FCC, ANATEL, NORM over the global, and the ability to debug hardware designs during certification tests.
