Job brief
Leading Financial Services Company is currently seeking to employ a Data Platform Product Lead with expertise in Product Management and data technologies, to lead high-performing teams to help business units across the group turn data into a competitive advantage.
Responsibilities
- Conduct internal user research to understand data consumers needs
- Lead Data Product Development
- Develop a comprehensive product roadmap and secure alignment with commercial and data science leaders.
- Budget management - resource planning from storage and compute costs to cost of team development and retention
- Write detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRD's)
Requirements
- Matric /Grade 12
- National Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/ Informations Systems / Statistics / Informatics
- Min 7 years' experience in leading data platform teams coupled with 2 years in cloud technologies
