The Associate Business Analyst role is a key contributor within the Partner Enablement Team (PET), focused on supporting the administration and ongoing effectiveness of partner onboarding and sustainment activities. This role ensures the smooth coordination and execution of processes across the partner lifecycle, including intake management, partner onboarding portal support, and production validation, while maintaining alignment with operational and regulatory requirements. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Associate Business Analyst helps drive consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in partner integrations and day-to-day operations, contributing to a reliable and scalable partner experience.

As the Associate Business Analyst, you are responsible for the development of business requirements, analysis, testing and delivery of new applications, enhancements or upgrades for products and services owned by Manufacturing. You also provide business and technical support related to system applications, procedures, workflows and documentation.

How you will create impact:

  • Contribute to and/or develop, analyze, document and validate business requirements and/or specifications for new applications, or enhancements/upgrades to existing systems Supporting the organization and Client Service Solutions (CSS) strategic plans. Participate in the development of project scope and project plan with associated stakeholders and identify business impacts and project risks.
  • Conduct and/or facilitate workshops/sessions to solicit and document business requirements (regulatory, functional and non-functional), business process issues and risks (ensuring that necessary certification and audit controls are addressed). Investigate and recommend solutions using sound business judgment.
  • Liaise with various business areas to implement new applications/enhancements/upgrades to ensure delivery of effective solutions and system integration.
  • Contribute to the development of system design and construction of data models and/or process/workflow models. Contribute to and/or develop test strategies, UAT plans, and define detailed test cases as well as conducting testing. Develop or locate test data and conduct testing sign-off. Document and retest defects. Assist with preparation of work estimates in effort to meet implementation.
  • Provide application and procedural support for Business Analysts and all of CSS. Investigate and resolve application, workflow and procedure issues as they arise. Identify and recommend improvements to existing systems, procedures, forms and workflows.
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of all Business Systems objectives.

  • You have business/systems knowledge and comprehension of applications, procedures and workflows.
  • You have the ability to solicit and document business requirements.
  • You are enrolled in Business Analyst accredited courses, and/or commitment to complete the curriculum.

Salary information

Expected salary $50,280.00 to $83,800.00 CAD

Salary placement

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Incentive/Variable pay

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
