You’ll apply engineering standards, perform sizing calculations, produce technical drawings and specifications and ensure solutions are integrated to suit site constraints and various environments. Produce the technical drawings and specifications required to deliver projects Design civil infrastructure, including underground utility networks, roadworks, stormwater drainage systems and retention ponds Help plan, organize and monitor engineering activities Prepare cost estimates, quantity take-offs, schedules, budgets, as well as technical specifications and related reports Ensure quality control of the deliverables produced by engineers and technicians Assess client satisfaction and maintain close, long-term professional relationships with clients and their representatives Coordinate and mentor a multidisciplinary team of infrastructure engineers and technicians Ensure technical coordination with the various engineering disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical, environmental, etc.) Assess engineering hour requirements and help prepare proposals
